HHH maintains private rooms with baths, kitchens, dining areas, lounges, library, shuttle service, and other services for registered guests.

5th Floor Transplant Floor
Health care, particularly transplantation, has become increasingly
sophisticated. Where patients formerly stayed in the hospital for
weeks or months following transplants, they are now often discharged
from the hospital in as little as 4-5 days, although they are not
released from doctor's care. If not from the Richmond area, they may
be referred to HHH and often stay for several months.
In order to accommodate the needs of these patients and their
families, HHH renovated an entire floor of the building specifically
with transplant patients in mind. This floor, dedicated in September
2000, includes the following special features:
Rooms are environmentally compatible with special needs of
patients.
Bathrooms are fully handicap-equipped and include roll-in
showers.
More unencumbered square floor space is available to
accommodate wheel chairs.
Room furnishings include comfortable recliners.
The separate kitchen on this floor, donated by Reynolds
Metals Foundation, includes lockers for patient food supplies to
ensure protection from contamination. At check-in, transplant
patients receive a key to the kitchen and to their individual food
lockers.
The TV lounge is also keyed so that only transplant patients
and their families may use it.

MCV over thirty days. She stayed at HHH after the transplant to be
close to the clinic since we live out of town. I want to thank all
