International Hospital for Children
At this moment, in distant developing countries, children are suffering and dying from conditions routinely treated in the United States.
The harsh truth is that where a baby is born is often the deciding factor between life and death or the chance to live a full, productive life. Most developing countries lack access to pediatric critical care resources, especially surgical care.
Now there’s an organization dedicated to ending the needless suffering of these critically ill children. It’s the International Hospital for Children (IHC). As a virtual hospital, IHC doesn’t have walls, doors or hallways. But we do have the ability to harness our abundant medical resources to save the lives of many children. And we can do it now.
